Chilli con Carne with Mac n Cheese Rolls
  • 1kg Premium Beef Mince
  • 1large red onion
  • 1can Red Kidney Beans
  • 1can Cannelloni Beans
  • 1tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1tbsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1tin tomato paste
  • 1kg Mac n Cheesepre-prepared the night before 🙂
  • 1bottle Sriracha Chilli Sauce
  • 6foot French Bread Sticks
  1. Chop the onion into fairly large pieces, they will cook down.
  2. Combine the beef mince, beans, garlic, chilli and herbs into the slow cooker bowl.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours with lid on then for an hour with lid off. You may still need to remove some excess liquid off the top.
  4. Slice up the bread rolls, removing a wedge form the middle to make room.
  5. Reheat the Mac n Cheese that was prepared earlier.
  6. Serve the Chilli con Carne with Mac n Cheese then add a generous serving of Sriracha to taste.
