Plug in your sandwich press to warm up.
Slice up your shallots and set aside.
Crack one egg into a bowl/plate and beat with a whisk/fork.
Spread breadcrumbs out on a plate.
Dip ham steak into beaten egg.
Then dip/coat ham steak in breadcrumbs.
Place ham steaks onto sandwich press and allow cook until browned.
While ham steaks are cooking, cut and butter your rolls!
Once ham steaks are brown, remove and place eggs onto sandwich press to cook (be sure to break yoke), also place bread rolls buttered side down to toast. We used two sandwich presses to save a bit of time.
Perfectly cooked eggs!
Once all cooked, time to assemble your EggSlut sandwich.
Start with the Sriracha mayo on the roll, add your ham steak, then egg and top with shallots. Add extra Sriracha sauce to taste. ENJOY!
