Pour the refried beans into a bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes stirring once during.
Chop half of a red onion and the jalepenos.
Chop the chorizo into small chunks.
Take 2 tablespoons each of onion and jalepenos and mix into the refried beans.
Add a layer of corn chips to the bottom of the bowl. Add about 1/3 of the jalepenos, refried beans and onion. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of salsa sauce over the top.
Add another layer of corn chips, try not to leave any gaps. Add another 1/3 of the jalepenos, refried beans and onion. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of salsa sauce and a handful of cheese over the top.
Repeat the above one more time and use all of the remaining cheese for this top layer. It is now ready for the oven.
Place in the cold oven at 180 and set timer for about 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 2 minutes.
Serve with a nice healthy topping of home made (or store bought) guacamole.
