Bacon Wrapped Toasted Cheese & Avocado Sandwiches
When we saw an image of these pop up on social media last week we instantly knew we had to try them. OfficeCooking.com.au is pleased to show you our Bacon Wrapped Toasted Cheese & Avocado Sandwiches.
Possibly not the healthiest thing we have ever cooked in the office but these deserve more than a 5 star rating in our eyes.
Ingredients
- 1 kg bacon rind-less rashes if possible
- 6 slice Bread
- 3 slice tasty chedar cheese
- 1/2 whole avocado also in tube is OK
- 1/2 whole red onion
- 3 tbsp american Mustard
Instructions
- Chop onion into slices.
- Put avocado, onion, cheese and mustard between 2 slices of bread.
- Take 2 rashes of bacon, lay out flat and place sandwich on top and wrap around to top.
- Turn sandwich 90 degrees and repeat with 2 more rashes of bacon. Tuck back into itself as much as possible.
- Place in sandwich press.
- After about 20 minutes bacon should be crispy on top and bottom and cheese should be melted.
- Tale off press and allow to cool slightly before serving.
